The Prince Albert Grand Council is now accepting applications for Drivers for Urban Services. This position reports to the Director of Urban Services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Transportation:
- Maintain company vehicles cleanliness
- Responsible for fueling of company vehicles, keep mileage record.
- Must be able to fill out incident reports/log book
Qualifications:
– Must have Grade 12/equivalent in work experience
– Must be able to work evening shifts
– Must possess strong written & oral communication skills
– Experience in Security or Conflict Resolution
– Aptitude to work with our homeless and vulnerable
– Good interpersonal communication skills
– Demonstrated skills in ability to work as part of a team
– A commitment to personal wellness and evidence of adherence to a healthy lifestyle
– Must undergo a Federal Criminal Record Search
– Knowledge of First Nation language and culture, an asset
– Valid St. John’s First Aid and C.P.R. certificate
– Valid Saskatchewan driver’s license/Driver’s Abstract
– Knowledge of the Cree/Dakota/Dene language is a definite asset.
