Under the direction of the General Manager and the Board of Directors, the Executive Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of NLCDC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the General Manager using both traditional and innovative technologies.
- Coordinate planning meetings, special events, and manage conflicting schedules between directors.
- Answer inquiries in person and over the phone, or refer them to the appropriate sources.
- Prepare correspondence, memos, statistical and financial documents from verbal or written direction.
- Coordinate and arrange travel for the Board of Directors.
- Record and maintain meeting minutes and motions for Board, Screening, Governance, and Finance meetings.
- Distribute minutes, memos, and other correspondence to board members.
- Prepare letters of offer for all approved projects
Qualifications & Skills:
- A degree in Business Administration or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience in a similar role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Experience working with First Nations communities is considered a strong asset.
