Providing Culturally Grounded Emergency Shelter & Wraparound Support

Relatives’ Lodge is an Indigenous-led emergency shelter program operated by the Prince Albert Grand Council since May 15th, 2025. It offers 24/7 support to Adult individuals experiencing homelessness in Prince Albert and surrounding communities.

At the heart of the Lodge is our belief in treating every individual as a relative—with dignity, respect, and compassion. Our shelter provides:

  • Safe Overnight Accommodations
  • Nutritious Meals (3x daily)
  • Case Management & Cultural Care Planning (Coming Soon)
  • Access to Income Support & Housing Navigation
  • On-site Outreach and Mental Health Services (Coming Soon)
  • Connections to Detox, Treatment, and Health Supports
  • Traditional and Spiritual Healing Supports (Coming Soon)

We prioritize trauma-informed care and cultural reconnection, helping our relatives take the next steps in their healing and wellness journey. We work in partnership with municipal, provincial, and First Nations service providers to ensure a coordinated and compassionate response.
