SFNEM is sending a huge Congratulations to Grand Chief Brian Hardlotte for receiving the Saskatchewan Governments Premiers Commendation Award for the Type Two Firefighters who heroically protected the North during the devastating 2025 Wildfires. This year’s program was dedicated to those who responded to the 2025 wildfires, honoring their extraordinary efforts during the summers unprecedented wildfire season.

Grand Chief was away for business so it was fitting that our retired Director Cliff Buettner traveled to Regina to accept the award on the Chiefs behalf.
