Gathering Of Nations

The Prince Albert Grand Council (PAGC) Gathering of Nations is a four-day celebration of First Nations culture, tradition, community, and unity. Taking place August 25–28, 2026, at the Chief Joseph Custer Grounds in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, the Gathering brings together PAGC First Nations, families, community members, and visitors to celebrate and share Indigenous culture and traditions.
The event features Pow Wow, traditional food, drumming and singing, Dene Hand Games, arts and crafts demonstrations, outdoor cooking demonstrations, jigging, horseshoe competitions, bingo, gospel singing, a talent show, and more.
The Gathering begins each morning with a Pipe Ceremony, with cultural activities and demonstrations taking place throughout the week. Tuesday features the Grand Entry and Pow Wow, while Wednesday includes the Talent Show and Two Step Contest. Thursday highlights the Jigging Competition and Gospel Singing, and the Gathering concludes Friday with the Dene Hand Games Finals and Closing Ceremony.
The public is welcome to attend and experience the traditions, culture, and community of the PAGC First Nations.
