The Spruce Lodge Medical Boarding Home is now accepting applications from qualified individuals for Dining Server.
Position Summary:
In collaboration with the Spruce Lodge Medical Boarding Home team, the Dining Server is to offer a hospitable welcome to all guests and provide timely and professional food service.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to service standards.
- Do all necessary set-up as assigned.
- Answer any guest questions about the menu.
- Check food before serving it to guests to ascertain that appearance, temperature and portions are correct.
- Ensure prompt and professional clearing and resetting of tables.
- Achieve the timely and professional service of all food.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
Assets: - Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Food Safety Certificate
- Knowledge of First Nations Language and Culture is an asset
